Pre-season, Girls Water Polo Families:
Please make sure your athlete receieves her team swim suit and polo on time! Please print and fill out the EQUIPMENT ORDER FORM, also found on the Team Links page, for team suits and polos. All checks are made out to Aragon High School, due by Sept. 4.
Thank you to all families who brought delicious brunch items and cheered on the girls at their first Inter-squad team scrimmage and brunch last Saturday! We loved getting to meet with so many of you and appreciate the support and interest in your child's high school athletics experience.
Fall Sportsmanship Night 2014 is coming up!
September 2nd is the mandatory meeting for all parents of Fall athletes.
Check-in at the girls water polo table in the gym at 6:45pm and chat with the other parents before a welcome from the Aragon Athletic Director, Steve Sell. Following, will be a brief meeting for girls water polo with the coaches.
*If you cannot attend you will be required to make up the informational meeting with Steve Sell on the following Saturday morning.
Congratulations to our many successful student-athletes, you all have been working hard and we look forward to your continued growth in the classroom and in the pool.
Practice will continue as listed.
Every day you are preparing for future opportunities and you are stronger than you can imagine!
After practice, this Friday, August 29th, there will be team bonding for varsity and junior varsity at the home of Elena Ralls and her family ('15, Co-Captain).
It's only a couple blocks from school and I hear there will be lasagna and s'mores!
Another big thank you to Elena's mother, Llamina Ralls, for representing girls water polo at the first Booster club meeting this past Tuesday night. She will be our team Booster Club Captain and is a vital part of bringing the Aragon Athletics community together.
Lastly, the girls water polo teams are looking forward to the Aragon Football Tailgate on Friday, September 5th from 5:00-6:30 on the lower basketball court, near the track. After the festivities, we will cheer on the varsity football team as they compete against Jefferson High School.
You can "Grab a Don Meal" for $5.00 (includes a hot dog or hamburger with chips, water & dessert). Sport your Aragon water polo or red and black attire, the funds raised will go to the sport boosters which supports all the athletic teams.
GO DONS!!!
