Aragon Girls win the Sequoia Tournament!

The Varsity and J.V. competed in great games this past weekend in Redwood City. The Dons came away with wins against Irvington(12-0), Sequoia(11-2), and Notre Dame(11-5).
-Senior goalkeeper, Eve McNally(’15), was a force to be reckoned with, holding all 3 teams to just 7 goals including her first shut-out this season and an impressive 21 saves, a career high, in the win over Sequoia.
-The Junior Varsity narrowly lost a game against Sequoia’s J.V. (3-5). The J.V. goalie, Sara Frandsen (’18), had an exciting 9 saves against the Cherokees, also a career high.
-The team was feeling great coming off a win over Mercy Burlingame, on September 25th, where Tessa Draper(’15) led in scoring for the Dons at an unstoppable 8 goals.

You should also ask to receive notes and handouts from teachers or classmates. All athletic league games are excused absences. Please contact your coaches or Steve Sell, Athletic Director, if you face any obstacles.
